We hosted a 4 day conference for 90 people in this fine establishment and were so well looked after. Our every request was met with a smile and efficiency. The attention to detail was astounding and general adaptability around some of the changes we had to make was remarkable. An excellent business destination and having stayed on a day longer as a guest we were treated like gold! A very special place with special people. And a special mention to Goy our event manager! Highly recommend guest to book the room with Club Lounge access. The service and food at Club lounge during tea time and cocktail hour is superb. The service staff at Club Lounge - Miss PANG is provides excellent service with passion and she remembers her guest.

The Athenee Bangkok is a very beautiful and polished hotel with well appointed rooms and a grand entrance. I believe this is one of the higher end 5* hotels in Bangkok - the price reflects this, and it is easy to see why. All of the staff I encountered were hospitable and welcoming. The hotel has amenities which include a lovely pool, spa, garden area and comprehensive gym (which had everything I needed for my usual workout, including multiple machines and free weights), all located on the 4th floor. The breakfast is easily one of the most comprehensive and high quality I have seen, comprising dishes across multiple Asian countries as well as Western style options. This includes hot stations for soups, French toast and eggs of your choice, delightful pastries as well as a fresh juicer / smoothie station where you can request your choice of beverage by pointing at the freshly cut fruit. Unfortunately I did not have a chance to eat at any of the restaurants for lunch or dinner but I did order room service twice, and found the food here to be generally good. My room had both a shower and a bath, my bed was very comfortable and I could not hear the traffic from my room on the 21st floor when trying to sleep. I will certainly keep this hotel on my list of places to return to in Bangkok for a nice, luxurious stay.
