Rooms are a bit old and as one of the most loyal Marriott Bonvoy customer we were promised an upgrade but we only got a "better view" not a bigger room. Service is good, we forgot something in the room after we check out and they kept it for us so I returned a couple of days later to picked it up still in good condition. Only con is that it took the staff around 30 minutes just to give it back to me, which is a bit long when I was in a rush. One of the best thing is probably the location, it's a walking distance to the BTS station, downtown malls and also the U.S. embassy where I had to do something. Lastly, I love the pool and the gym, very modern and has a good view. Definitely not the best hotel in downtown Bangkok but it's for sure one of the top ones.

年末年始の宿泊しました。マリオットプラチナ会員ですが、さすがに部屋のアップグレードはなし。ですがボトムの部屋でも十分豪華で快適な滞在ができました。 ラウンジはアフタヌーンティー、イブニングカクテルで利用しました。 アフタヌーンティーはスイーツの数は少ないですが、それほど食べない人には十分。 イブニングカクテルは、食べ物は種類は多くはないですが、十分満足できるレベル。アルコールはオーダー形式でいろいろなカクテルが楽しめて優雅な時間が過ごせました。

Just wound down our 2 week Thailand trip with 3 nights at The Athenée - and it was a wonderful experience. We loved the warmth of the staff, especially Khun Bennie the Front Office Manager who was so gracious with us, and the restaurants staff (recommend the House of Smooth Curry; the staff there and the breakfast were both wonderful, but the food is better at HSC), and the bell staff. As Marriott Ambassadors, we are lucky to get some perks and upgrades and The Athenée did not disappoint. We loved our one bedroom suite which was beautifully appointed and a great mixture of classic culture and modern convenience. In addition, the hotel was very well situated for a lot of the dining and shopping that we wanted to do. High recommend.

Lovely hotel, extraordinary staff, club lounge people and not only, all the staff is super friendly, very helpful, we loved staying at Athenee hotel, cooking class highly recommended!!!
