Colazione a buffet davvero fantastico, lusso bellissimo, personale super gentile

Athenee is a beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, we experienced the highest level of customer service ever. Truly impeccable. All the team members here are amazing. We were graciously greeted at 5:30am and we were able to check in immediately, which was fantastic after a 16.5hr flight. They gave us some delicious juice and cold towels to sooth us. Tar gave us great directions and a map to get us to the bank to exchange money. He also gave us some tips on places to go and how to use the train. The room was well appointed and maintained. Excellent bedding, shower and toiletries. Our housekeeper made us cute animals out of towels and she does a meticulous cleaning as well. The service at the gym and pool side was constantly exceptional. They all worked together as a well oiled machine. Everyone so kind and thoughtful. Ukis, the concierge, gave us great directions when we wanted to try local transit for a longer adventure along with a map and a special card with a map of the hotel area and written in Thai to “please help us find our way” incase we got lost. He called to ensure we had transportation booked for our next destination before we left for the airport in a taxi which was kindly arranged when we checked in and they found and catalogued my missing sweater which I received just before our departure. We will definitely recommend Athenee to anyone who is visiting Bangkok! It’s centrally located and a true oasis in the busy city. Great place to come home to after a busy day! A bit dated but absolutely spectacular service and atmosphere. Old school luxury at its best, a definite recommendation for Bangkok city stays. Super conveniently located right at the heart of the city.

This was my first visit, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and desserts. A few of the seminars were particularly impressive. The staff were all very welcoming and always smiling. This hotel is beautifully designed with a touch of luxury. While I haven't had the chance to stay here yet, I find it to be a lovely and wonderful hotel conveniently located in downtown Bangkok. At restrooms, small hand towels are used instead of paper tissues. It’s a thoughtful and eco-friendly choice often seen in upscale settings or places with a focus on sustainability. It adds a touch of sophistication and reduces waste compared to disposable options.
