One of the best hotels i have ever stayed.in. amazing pool and gym and the staff were amazing in every way. I felt like king. The lounge was so useful and great food

Had a wonderful 7 day stay at the Athenee last month. As a Platinum member, breakfast and access to the executive lounge were included, and I was given a minor room upgrade (although sadly not to a suite). Hotel is in a convenient location - just a few minutes away from a BTS station and within walking distance of plenty of malls (Central Embassy, Central World) for shopping and restaurants. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable, but they do look and feel a little dated. The bathroom toiletries were by Byredo, which was a nice touch. The pool was excellent - large enough to swim laps, not crowded, plenty of seating and well cared for. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a large variety of Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Western options every single day, with a few rotating items. The executive lounge offered a happy hour with free flowing alcohol and light bites every afternoon, as well as different foods each evening that could serve as a quick dinner (for example: wonton noodle soup, spaghetti alle vongole, and grilled beef ribs. Service was top notch, everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind and attentive. I also wanted to give a big shout out to Mik in the executive lounge as well as Noi and Mewnion from Rain Tree Cafe for always taking care of us and making our stay memorable.
